The Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur, will observe its foundation day and organise a farmers meet on its premises on Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. The Union government’s Scheduled Castes Sub Plan Programme will be inaugurated on the occasion. In addition, experts will enlighten the participants on forming farmer producer companies. There will be a discussion on forming All India Cashew Growers Association.
