The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Private Sector Development and Local Consumer Promotionorganized a training workshop on market opportunities and participation in international trade events on Tuesday, July 2 in Sokodé at intention of actors in the cashew and shea sectors of the central region.

It is a workshop within the framework of the implementation of the "Project of Sustainability and Capacity Building of Cashew and Shea (PRODAK)" with the financial support of the Secretariat of Implementation of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (SMOCIR) training workshop on market opportunities and participation in international trade events was held on Tuesday, 2 July in Sokodé for stakeholders in the cashew and shea sectors of the region Central.
The meeting aims to equip exporters with export market research techniques and to provide support to actors in the processing of 3 sectors such as cashew, shea and soy. The aim is to support sectors with strong export potential as part of the actions undertaken by the government with the support of its technical and financial partners in the search for partnership and commercialization.
The work enabled participants to build their capacity on the International Trade Center (ITC) analysis tools, market research tools and databases. They were also equipped on modules including international strategic approaches, techniques and the importance of participation in a trade event, the opportunity of the continental African free trade zone and the exporter's guide.
