"The construction of the University of Bondoukou began with the work of bringing electricity, water and fiber optics to the site," said Aka Bio, during the celebration on Wednesday of the 59th anniversary of Independence Day in the locality.

The prefectural authority also pointed out that the increase in the power of the electric current is being completed thus bringing to the populations a substantial improvement of the supply of electricity. "This will enable infant industries and small trades to create jobs," he said.

For Aka, increasing the capacity of water towers by building a water reservoir on the Kanon River will make people forget about periods of water scarcity.

He returned to the project of asphalting the streets of the commune of Bondoukou and the international road Bondoukou-Sampa-Border of Ghana which will increase the economic flows between Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana, allowing to produce a lot of good and services for women and youth.

The prefect also recalled the upcoming construction by the Cotton Cashew Council of an industrial cashew processing area. According to him, the creation of all these infrastructures allowing a better improvement of the agricultural potentialities will generate entrepreneurial initiatives able to create jobs.
