[IVC]: Ivory Coast / More than 4000 tons of cashew nuts produced in the Nassian department in 2018

Nassian, August 08 (AIP) - A total of 4,497 tons of cashew nuts have been produced in the Nassian Department in 2018, Prefect Okoma Adjo Jeannette announced during the celebration of the independence of Côte d'Ivoire in Nassian, Wednesday.

There is a clear decline from the 2019 production which is not yet complete. Producers still keep products in their homes and stores, said Prefect Okoma Adjo Jeannette. 

According to the head of the cotton-cashew council, Coulibaly Brahima, contacted by phone, the production of 2019 could reach 5000 tons.
