Touba, August 10 (AIP) - The Touba prefect, Benoît Yao Kouakou, expressed his satisfaction for the development investments made by the government in the department.

He said on Wednesday, during the celebration of the 59th anniversary of the independence of Côte d'Ivoire.
"Touba County has nothing to envy to others about development investments.
It has also been positive in this past year, in the field of agricultural production, "said Yao.
The prefect added that the economy of the department is based on agriculture with more than 5,000 tons of cocoa and 7,000 tons of cashew produced during the last agricultural campaign.
