More than 50 Cscom technical directors (DTC), nutrition officers and facilitators from 49 Community Health Centers (Cscom) in the 23 municipalities in the region completed a training session yesterday (10/09/2019) in Sikasso.
The training focused on the nutritional value of cashew nuts for infants and young children. For two days, participants were equipped on how to introduce cashew byproducts into the diet of children and pregnant women. It was organized by the regional management of Sikasso and financed by the Pafam (Project to support the cashew nut sector in Mali)
